This documentary attempts to retrieve and review the real significance of that film through a series of notes: some fundamental images (many of them not seen before), the story of some of the main protagonists of that shooting, the return to the original sites mentioned in the film (both in Russia and in the original locations of the film in IT) or the series of Polaroid photographs that Tarkovsky made while preparing the filming.
