Erkan and Tuncay were born and raised in Ingolstadt, southern dey, but had tr passports from their parents. After getting into trouble with the police in the early 1990s they were deported to TR and had to start a new life in a country they barely knew. Now, nearly twenty years later, their childhood friend Murat sets off in search of his friends. Murat had moved from TR with his family as a young boy, and still feels that he doesn’t completely belong in dey. But he couldn’t imagine a life for himself in TR today. He asks how his friends have managed to built up something new back then. Does he still feel a connection with them? Murat starts his journey from Ingolstadt where he interviews the friends who stayed and have working jobs, like their fathers did. Telling us his own story he finally arrives in Antalya, TR. The film portrays a generation that didn’t fit anywhere, raising questions of belonging, acceptance, lost chances and friendship.
