The documentary tells the story of one day in Smara, a refugee camp in the south of DZ, in the city of Tinduf. This refugee camp has been in existence for more than twenty years in the desert. Sahara was a Spanish colony until the army left when the population was attacked by MA and MR. The population escaped through the desert to seek refuge in the inhospitable territory, ceded by DZ. The reality now is the continuation of a population exiled from their land, now occupied by MA. A handmade symbolic token is used as a narrative element, taking us through the lives of six characters and the reality of the situation in the refugee camp. Without interviews, the characters, in voice over, tell us their personal stories and struggles in order to built an intimate portrait.
