This film is a journey through the history of the most ancient of Buenos Aires and some of its protagonists (the men who have built the AR Nation, as seen from the present cemetery workers): a journey through the history of this national pantheon (through the voices of its famous or denied characters), which is also an approach to the construction of History itself (with its struggles, hegemonies and exclusions). The cementery is taken as a symbol where the fathers of the land that have fighted in different political parties, now are resting in peace together. The confrontation between them is represented by the readings of those characters quotes, which take form of a “dialogue of dead”. This dialogues narrate in a cronological way the Argentinian history (as general as the Latin American history and as universal as all violence histories).
