Energodar - meaning the gift of energy in ru- is a crossing of uks atomgrad cities. those nuclear plants satellite towns, kept secret at the soviet era, were planned following Pripyat's model - the atomgrad of Tchernobyl nuclear plant which was abandoned in 1986 after the disaster. Between documentary and fiction, this film, constituted by an editing of observation still shots, organize archives readings, personal narrative et soviet rock music. The progression, from these nuclear cities still active to the Tchernobyl exclusion zone, is scanned by the appearances of the remains from a gigantic radar, nicknamed "ru Woodpecker" during the cold war
