‘FEMEI” is a short documentary which investigates how these new European women see the world and themselves. Through the use of testimonials from women representing different age groups and social classes, we are allowed a glimpse into their daily struggles and their hopes and expectations for the future. Have they evolved since the fall of Nicolae Ceaucescu’s dictatorship? How do they see themselves? What role do they play in their surroundings? What are their main conflicts? What are they striving for?
