A casa é um barco e um mar. “Mais um dia à procura, Maria... Vamos lá a ver se a gente encontra!” Novembro de 2009. A temperatura das águas baixou muito nos últimos dias e os atuns dos Açores rumaram ao sul. A bordo do açoriano Pepe Cumbrera, único atuneiro ainda em actividade em S. Miguel, uma tripulação de madeirenses abre o mar dos Açores e procura quase sem encontrar. A espera, a esperança e a vida estão neste exercício documentário filmado em três dias a bordo. SINOPSE EN Synopsis Home is a boat and the sea. "One more day of searching, Maria. Let's see what we can find.” The water temperature has fallen considerably in the last few days and the Azorean tuna has moved south. On board, the Azorean boat, Pepe Cumbrera, the last of the tuna boats still working this year on São Miguel, a group of men from Madeira are fishing near the Azores, and finding next to nothing. The concepts of Waiting, of Hope, and of Life are explored in this documentary which was filmed during three days on board the ship. (Pt, Col, 19')
