Harutiun Dellalian can best be described as one of the most original composers of contemporary Armenian music, whose life was anything but traditional, actually quite extraordinary. His creative life was very short, only lasting for 13 years. A person of limitless imagination and willpower, he was in a constant search for self-expression. He tried to make up for lost years but he also realized that his ultimate goal could never be achieved without self-sacrifice, hard work and continious self reform. Meanwhile, during this very short period of his life he succesfully created primary works, which were performed on many stages throughout the world, in the U.S.A., Japan, Italy, England, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Russia, ... He was an artist whose music and whole life were so impressive and inspiring that a film was born.
